FOX5 – KVVU – Las Vegas, News, Weather: LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -The nine-minute fireworks show, named "Station Casinos' 35th Anniversary, 4th of July Blast", is put on by Grucci's of New York. The city wide simultaneous shows are happening at Aliante Station, Green Valley Ranch, Fiesta Rancho and Texas Station and Red Rock Resort. The Grucci family brought 17 pyrotechnicians to set up and launch the five shows. It takes them four days and 700 man-hours to set up the spectacular at each location. The fireworks program is electronically fired from a computer-generated script featuring choreography between the music and fireworks. It takes nine miles of wire to circuit the firing batteries.Everything's lit with electronic igniters, electronic matches we call them," Larry Goetz, with Grucci's, says, "Every cue and shell is specific to where it's supposed to be in the sky. Everything's choreographed down to a hundredth of a second. "The fireworks show will be choreographed to music paying tribute to America and the fun spirit of Las Vegas. It will include songs from artists such as John Mellencamp, The Beatles, Journey, Black Eyed Peas and Frank Sinatra. The musical score to the fireworks show will be simulcast live on several Beasley Broadcasting Group radio stations including KKLZ 96.3 FM, KOAS 105.7 FM, KCYE 102.7 FM, KVGS 107.9 FM and KDWN AM720.Expect a special twist in this year's show as well."We're tying in our "We Love Locals" campaign into the fireworks show," Lori Nelson, with Station Casinos said, "We tasked the Grucci's with incorporating that into the musical score as well as some special fireworks. The show starts at 9PM sharp Monday night. Each hotel has a special viewing area set up, but you're told to plan ahead and get there early before the show begins.
